[ARCHIVED] Credit Cards now accepted....

News Release

As an added convenience, effective immediately the Treasurer/Collector’s office is now able to accept in person credit/debit card payments.  All major credit cards are accepted; American Express, VISA, Master Card and Discover.   This is a swipe card reader only, no chip.  It is a very safe process; no information is stored; it is a onetime payment transaction.    Payments accepted include real estate, personal property and water bills along with boat and motor vehicle excise tax payments.  Additionally, mooring bills and voluntary contributions can also be paid using a credit card.

Please keep in mind that the credit card companies do charge a “convenience fee” for their service and you will be made aware of the fee before the payment is processed.
