Volunteer Program Mission
The ability to meet the needs of Cohasset's older population is greatly enhanced by the commitment and reliability of our volunteers. While maintaining the strictest professionalism and confidentiality, volunteers assist and support CEA staff in helping Cohasset seniors maintain a healthy, satisfying and independent lifestyle.
All volunteers must pass a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check. Van drivers must have a current, valid Massachusetts driver's license.
Volunteers are our Lifeline
At any given time, we may be looking for cooks, meal servers, drivers, front desk greeters, friendly visitors, or group leaders. Generally our volunteer opportunities occur during our business hours Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you have the ability to join us for a regular schedule and are interested in learning more give us a call at (781) 383-9112.
